Upcoming Exhibition

Throughout the past six months, Ellen Marie has been working in isolation at
her family’s residence at Las Colinas in Murcia, Spain. For her next
solo exhibition in November, she has prepared a series of drawings which play
with the fragile space in between movement and stillness.

Titled “ENSIMISMAMIENTO“, which literally means the withdrawal into
one’s inner self, the exhibition reflects the timeless moment that lies
in between inner peace and outer chaos.
Created in her open air studio, the works acquire the gritty edge of the outdoors,
which gracefully counterbalances the intimate encounters and
contemplative presence of the figures in her work.
